Owners Dave and Erin Sipila

Meet Dave & Erin Sipila, the founders of Maple Valley Plumbing—and your neighbors, too.

Maple Valley Plumbing started with a simple belief: people deserve to feel taken care of when something goes wrong in their home. That belief turned into a business, built by Dave and Erin Sipila—lifelong locals, proud parents (and grandparents!), and the team behind the friendly voice on the phone and the steady hands on the job.

Our Story.

Dave grew up right here in Maple Valley. After spending years working in the plumbing industry—residential, commercial, and everything in between—he saw the gap between technical work and genuine service. It wasn’t just about fixing things. It was about making people feel safe, respected, and supported when something wasn’t working.

So together, Dave and Erin set out to build something better: a plumbing company rooted in craftsmanship and community—with no gimmicks, no upsells, and no call centers.

They started Maple Valley Plumbing in 2002, and over two decades later, they’ve built a business that still runs on word-of-mouth and honest work. Whether it’s Erin answering your call or Dave walking through your project, you’re always talking to someone who cares—because this is more than their business. It’s their name, their neighborhood, and their legacy.

These days, when they’re not solving plumbing problems, you can find Dave and Erin exploring the PNW, planning their next trip to Hawaii or NYC, or soaking up time with their daughters, granddaughters, and dog Piper (aka the unofficial company mascot.
